Marshalls Regional Award Winning ‘Best Patio Transformation over 35m2 2012’
We were contacted by the client to turn the, once blank, canvas that he had into a modern, low maintenance garden.
We designed this garden around the newly built orangery; everything centred on the bi fold doors that open onto the decking which was constructed in hardwood with the addition of LED lights. The stainless steel water feature makes a stunning back drop and a strong focal point on entering the garden.
The rendered walling adds partial screening from the rest of the garden, giving it an enclosed atmosphere and the impression of an extension of the house.
Marshalls Fairstone Sawn in Silver Grey was used for the patio and pathways, giving a sleek and ultra modern feel.
The contemporary lineal style planting softens the square edges of the walling and raised beds, and the finishing touch is the dramatic lighting system really bringing the garden to life at night.
For this we received another regional Marshall’s award for ‘Best Patio Transformation over 35m2’, scooping both awards in the patio category across 5 counties!
